The Festival of Trees is one of the earlier events kicking off the winter festival run in the city. You’ll find hundreds of beautifully decorated trees here every year. The event proceeds go to the University Hospital Foundation, this year supporting the trauma unit and complex surgeries. With 160 trees this year, there is always something to see around the corner.
This year the festival runs from Thursday, Nov 26 to Sunday, Nov 29 from 9am-9pm (Closing 5pm Sunday). iPhone users may download the new ‘University Hospital Foundation – Festival of Trees’ app from the App Store and receive $1 off adult admission. Tickets are $5 for youth/seniors, and $10 for adults.
It’s located at the Shaw Conference Centre Hall A, B, C. To get there, take exit F1 at Churchill Station, follow the indoor path to Canada Place, and down under to Shaw Conference Centre.
Give the Festival of Trees accounts a follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as there will be contests and updates during the event.
