New Foreign Film Opens in Edmonton Same Day as China
A new foreign film from China will surely make you want to live life to the fullest. As the title suggests, Go Away Mr Tumor! is about a woman who finds a way to cope with a diagnosis of terminal cancer. Inspired by cartoonist Xiong Dun, director Daniel Wu completes the mash-up of the best and most trying parts of the human experience reflecting the goals of creative life – dreams, fears, imagination, and hopelessness.
Distributed by China Lion Films, this limited release is unique in that it will be open internationally the same day as its debut in China. In an increasing web 2.0 world, and the threat of piracy, the film makes a bold change in the way foreign films are released.
Go Away Mr Tumor! opens in Edmonton for a limited release this Friday, on August 14, 2015, only at Cinema City Movies 12.
Tickets may be purchased at the box office or online here: http://www.cineplex.com/Showtimes/any-movie/cinema-city-movies-12?Date=8/14/2015
