The Eleven Bridges To Wayne, Alberta

If you’re out in Drumheller be sure to check out Wayne, Alberta.

What’s interesting is not the destination itself but the journey to get there, where a visitor would need to cross 11 bridges spanning the Rosebud River.

Wayne, Alberta was a hamlet before it was amalgamated into the town of Drumheller. Today it resembles a ghost town out of an old western, but the main legend is definitely those bridges which meander back and forth until you reach the former hamlet site.

Here is a short TikTok crossing the bridges.

Wayne, Alberta became part of #Drumheller in 1998. But the legacy of its bridges lives on. #AlbertaBound #ghosttown
